Kerry is a board-certified Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Michigan (2016). With a clinical foundation in Primary Care, Kerry began her career providing care for patients with complex chronic conditions, gaining strong grounding in acute and chronic disease management.
Driven by a passion for supporting aging populations, Kerry transitioned into Geriatric Primary Care, delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to older adults across diverse outpatient and residential settings. Her work focused on preventative care, chronic disease management, and patient education tailored to the unique needs of geriatric patients.
Building on experience, Kerry expanded into Psychiatric Care, specializing in long-term care and Intensive Residential Treatment settings. In this role, she focused on management complex chronic mental health conditions in adults and medically fragile individuals, integrating a holistic approach that emphasizes both mental and physical health.
Kerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norwich University in 2010, followed by both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Michigan in 2016. Her clinical interests include the intersection of mental health and aging, interdisciplinary care models, and improving quality of life for patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions.
